Spring Youth Competitive Soccer Program - Spring 2026

Our youth competitive soccer program is designed for boys ages 8-11 who are ready to grow in a competitive soccer environment. This program is ideal for beginner to intermediate players who want to develop their skills, gain confidence, and experience structured competitive games. Each team will train weekly with experienced and licensed coaches and compete in scheduled weekend matches against teams of similar skill level. Training sessions are designed to improve technical skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control, while also introducing tactical concepts like positioning, spacing, and decision-making. This program is a great next step for players transitioning from recreational soccer or preparing for higher levels of competition. Our goal is to help young athletes build a strong foundation, develop discipline and confidence, and grow their love for the game. 

Season: Spring (8-10 weeks of games) + Summer academy trainings 

Competitive League: CalNorth D6 Metro League and NorCal Premier League Playdates

Games: Weekend competitive matches (local and some travel depending on age group)

Location: Local fields in Sacramento / Elk Grove area

Uniform: Training jersey and game kit required. Returning players use their current uniform.

Practices: 2 trainings per week (evenings).

Elite Training Program - Annual 2026

Elite Training Program  **BY INVITE ONLY**

Our Elite Training Program is designed for dedicated intermediate to advanced players who are committed to elevating their game to the next level. This high-performance environment focuses on refining technical ability, enhancing tactical understanding, and developing the physical and mental aspects required to compete at higher levels of play. Players will train in a structured, challenging setting that mirrors the demands of competitive match play. Sessions are built around advanced ball mastery, positional awareness, speed of play, and decision-making under pressure. Athletes will be pushed to think faster, play smarter, and execute with precision. The program emphasizes strength, agility, and conditioning, as well as leadership, confidence, and a strong competitive mindset. Small-sided games and scenario-based training will be used to maximize touches and create realistic game situations.

Who It’s For: Boys ages 12 - 17 with a solid foundation of skills and game experience who are ready to train at a higher intensity and take the next step in their soccer journey.

Cost: $65/month (4 sessions) **Must enroll monthly**

Training Details: 1 training per week (Fridays) in Elk Grove area. Managed by experienced licensed coach.

Academy Training - Annual 2026

The Capitol City FC Academy Training is designed for beginner-intermediate level players who want to take their soccer skills to the next level. This program focuses on developing strong technical fundamentals including ball control, passing, first touch, dribbling, finishing, and 1v1 attacking and defending.

Training sessions are led by experienced and licensed coaches and combine skill development with small-sided games to help players improve decision-making, confidence, and overall soccer IQ in a fun and challenging environment. 

**Optional: Boys and girls under the age of 8 may be invited to play small sided 4v4 games on Saturdays.

Capitol City FC’s UPSL Men’s Division 1 program is designed for committed, high-level players seeking a competitive and professional soccer environment. Competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Division 1, the Spring 2026 season emphasizes performance, accountability, and team culture while providing a pathway for player development and exposure.

The program features structured training sessions led by experienced coaching staff, competitive league matches, and required travel within the region. Players are expected to demonstrate full-season commitment, including consistent attendance at trainings, matches, and team activities. Our goal is to build a reliable, competitive roster that represents Capitol City FC with pride both on and off the field.
